Apple Pie With Pecan Streusel Topping

Create the streusel first. In a medium bowl mix flour, salt, sugars, pecans and cinnamon together. Using two knives or a pastry blender cut in butter and work with the dough until the mixture resembles lots of pea sized crumbs. Place in fridge to chill. In a medium bowl mix apple slices with cinnamon and sugar. Toss with pie filling. Line a 9” Deep pie plate with pie crust. Fill with apple mixture and top with cold streusel mixture. Preheat Traeger grill to 350F. Grill for 1 hour 10 minutes or until the top is golden brown and the filling is bubbling. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream topped with caramel & whole toasted or smoked pecans.
