Easiest Ever Smoked Pig Candy Bacon Roses

First, prepare the Pig Candy: Slather thin bacon with maple syrup, then sprinkle generously with pork and poultry rub. Smoke the bacon at 250°F (120°C) until it is done but still flexible enough to be manipulated.

To form the Bacon Roses: Take 2 (or more) slices of the prepared pig candy bacon. Wrap each slice around each other to form a rose shape. Place the formed bacon roses into the cavities of a mini muffin pan that has been sprayed with cooking spray. As the bacon cools, it will stick together and hold its rose shape. 

Refrigerate the bacon roses and use them within 3-4 days.
