Irish Soda Bread with Whiskey Raisins

Soak raisins in whiskey and set aside. In a large bowl whisk together dry ingredients and set aside. Whisk egg, buttermilk and honey together. Add in butter cubes. Mix wet and dry together. Add in whiskey raisins and generously sprinkle flour on countertop and knead dough for 2 – 3 minutes. Dough will be sticky. Line a 9 inch cast iron pan with parchment paper. Place dough in. Bake on grill 375F until internal temperature of bread is 180F.
