Meatball Subs !!

To start, make the meatballs. Mix together the 1.5 lbs ground chuck beef (80/20 mix), 1/2 cup seasoned breadcrumbs, 1 egg, 1 tbsp minced garlic, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp onion powder, 2 tsp kosher sea salt, 2 tsp Italian seasoning, and 1 tsp black pepper rub. Use a 2oz portion scoop or divide the meat into 12 equal sized balls. Place the balls on a Traeger Grill at 275F and grill until the internal temperature of the balls reaches 150F. While the meat is cooking, preheat a pan of your favorite marinara sauce. Add the grilled meatballs to the hot marinara and continue to cook until they reach a final internal temperature of 165F. Serve the meatballs piled high in a fluffy cheesy yeast roll or your favorite sub bun. Sprinkle on more cheese if desired.
