Peanut Butter Bacon Chocolate Balls

In a bowl, combine 2 cups of your favorite peanut butter, 1 cup butter, 4 cups confectioners sugar, 1/2 tsp salt, and 1 tsp vanilla. Mix really well until fully combined. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them in the freezer to set for a minimum of 1/2 hour. In a separate bowl, combine 12 oz melted semi-sweet or dark chocolate with 2 tsp crisco shortening. The shortening will help thin out the chocolate and give it a little more shine. Dip the frozen peanut butter balls into the melted chocolate to coat them completely. Immediately place a piece of pig candy on top of each ball. Add a star sprinkle with a dab of chocolate to make it festive. Place the finished balls in the fridge to firm up or freeze them a few days in advance. Enjoy!
