Pig Candy Perfection

Preheat your grill to 250°F. Place a Bakers mesh rack inside of a baking tray lined with either a silicone mat, or foil or parchment paper. Spray the mesh baking rack with nonstick spray. Line up bacon slices on the rack. Brush maple syrup on each slice. Sprinkle generously with Traeger Pork and poultry rub. Place the rack on the grill and grill for approximately 1 1/2 to 2 hours. The bacon should be still pliant but not floppy. Remove from pan And store in an airtight container refrigerated. Always place layers of non stick sprayed parchment paper in between bacon slices so that they don’t all stick together. Eat within 3 to 4 days or freeze for later use.
