1. Make a lot of pig candy (at least 2 lbs) and refrigerate when done (refer to previous post for full recipe).
2. Make smoked nuts (cool completely; refer to previous post for full recipe if needed).
3. Finely chop the pig candy.
4. In a very large glass bowl, mix 1 cup corn syrup and 2 cups brown sugar.
5. Microwave for 5 minutes.
6. Stir in 1.5 cups smoked peanuts.
7. Microwave for 3 minutes.
8. Stir in 1 tablespoon unsalted butter and 2 teaspoons whisky or vanilla extract.
9. Microwave for 3 minutes.
10. Make sure to have 2 standard baking trays lined with non-stick sprayed aluminum foil or non-stick silicone pads. Sprinkle half of the chopped pig candy on the trays.
11. Add 1 tablespoon baking soda to the mixture and stir; it will bubble like crazy.
12. Divide the mixture between the two trays and spread thinly.
13. Sprinkle on handfuls of the remaining chopped pig candy.
14. Chill until firm. Break, eat, and give away.
