Smoked Apple Cider & Whiskey Cocktail

Combine 4 cups of apple cider and 2 cups of Bulleit whiskey in a grill-proof pan. Add the rind and juice from 2 navel oranges, 1/4 cup candied ginger, 2 star anise, 4 cinnamon sticks, and 2 tablespoons of allspice berries to the pan. Smoke the mixture at 225°F on a Traeger grill for 1 hour. Strain the mixture before serving. Serve with additional orange slices and cinnamon sticks, and optionally top with whipped cream for an additional indulgence.
