A show-stopping, ridiculously easy, and crowd-pleasing dessert perfect for holiday parties. Crispy, creamy, chocolatey, and wood-fired (or baked), these puffs are like the Hallmark movie of holiday desserts, but with Nutella.
1. Preheat your grill (or oven) to 400°F.
2. Cut each sheet of puff pastry into 9 squares (you’ll get 18 total).
3. Place on silicone-lined baking trays and sprinkle generously with about ½ cup sugar.
4. Bake for 15 minutes or until golden, puffed, and gorgeous.
5. Cool completely, then carefully split each puff horizontally.
6. Set aside 18 whole strawberries, slice the rest thinly.
7. Toss sliced berries with the remaining sugar (¼ cup) and let them get a little juicy.
8. Load up each bottom pastry with whipped cream and sliced strawberries.
9. Add the pastry top, drizzle with warm Nutella, add more whipped cream, and crown it with a whole strawberry.
10. Serve immediately.
