Valentine’s Day Heart Hand Pies (Grilled)

Delicious and personal heart-shaped hand pies, easy to make and customize, baked on the grill. Fill with your favorite pie filling like apple and cherry, then brush with egg wash, sprinkle with sugar, and bake until golden.
1. With a heart cookie cutter, cut out homemade or Pillsbury pie pastry dough.
2. Fill the center of one pastry heart with apple & cherry pie filling (or your favorite), leaving an edge all the way around 1/4 inch to crimp and close.
3. Roll a second pastry heart cutout a little thinner to cover the filling.
4. Crimp and seal the edges with a fork.
5. Brush the top of each hand pie with an egg wash.
6. Sprinkle raw sugar on top.
7. Bake on a parchment or silicone lined tray on a Traeger grill at 350F for 30 minutes or until golden.
8. Cool slightly, then sprinkle with icing sugar before serving.
